Our Training Policy

We shall (to the best of our ability) ensure the technical competency of our staff by identifying the training needs, including the establishment of formulated training goals with respect to the current and future education and the skills.


The competency of all staff members (technical and support) is critical to our operations and our existence as a calibration laboratory. We have implemented QP-014 Training of Laboratory Personnel and QP-016 Identification of Approved Signatories to identify and accomplish staff training. We recognize the following tasks crucial to laboratory staff competency:

ü  Use of calibration standards

ü  Perform calibrations

ü  Evaluation of results

ü  Creation of datasheets

ü  Calculate measurement uncertainty

ü  Metrology engineering

ü  Quality assurance activities

ü  Software design & implementation


Training Goals

Training goals are formulated on the basis of the qualifications needed by individuals to perform particular types of calibrations and documented in your BambooHR account. Support staff members are also required to receive training in their processes or activities they have been tasked to perform. The effectiveness of these training activities is evaluated through proficiency, interviews, aptitude exams, etc.

The significance and importance of continuing education and training to enhance the staff members’ morale and welfare and the importance of continuous education and training to the continued success, productivity, and profitability of the laboratory is well understood and embraced by the LLC Managing Members. We strive to seek to improve the quality of our work by advancing the knowledge and skills of our staff members.

Individual and training programs are established to include all tasks and techniques that personnel are required to perform.

In some cases it may be appropriate to define competence related to a particular technique or instrument rather than procedures. If so, it will be necessary to define for each procedure, the necessary technique-based competence required together with any additional requirements.
